The film A Dangerous Method won quite a few positive reviews since it release in Venice Film Festival this September. Undoubtedly this was one of the better movies of the year but also a very interesting, dramatic journey into a world that has not been explored very much in film making.

Presented with a chellenging case

with

Viggo Mortensen A Dangerous Method

The film has a great star cast with Kiera Knightly (I was wondering where was she for a while now!!),Michael Fassbender (love him for sheer screen presence) and Viggo ‘Aragon’ Mortensen. They are all powerful  performers and as the trailer goes, it seems there is some very serious acting involved. Whew!!

Michael Fassbender A Dangerous Method

Directed by David Conenberg and written By Cristopher Hampton this one promises OSCARs. We all know David Cronenberg now, don’t we? He seems to really like( as an ‘actor’)Viggo Mortensen, for this is their third project together. If you don’t know about him, then better watch Spider(2002), Fly(1986) (I know, I know…strange names!!), A History of Violence (2006). They are all good.

About Christopher Hampton… well he looks a little boho, but boy, he has given some great screenplays including Atonement (2007), and my old favorite Dangerous Liasons(1988).

With  these two working together, I am sure going to watch this movie. Adding to this, cherry on top is the topic…birth of the history changing Psychoanalysis, and the guys who build it up, Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung.

I tried and managed little bit of both their works, but well… they wrote in very difficult English, and wrote on a very difficult topics. Then I  read about them, written by others. They seemed no easier. So I am waiting for this film to release.I am hoping they wont make it in to a 3D gimmick. What do you think, you wanna check it out, or what?

rather refreshing. On the other hand, I appologize, because I can not give credence to your whole theory, all be it radical none the less. It seems to me that your comments are actually not totally justified and in fact you are generally your self not entirely confident of your argument. In any case I did take pleasure in examining it.
